Catherine completed her four-year degree in Chiropractic at the Welsh institute of Chiropactic. She has worked in the Bristol area since graduating in 2006 before setting up the Bristol Chiropractic Sports injury and Family Clinic in 2012 with fellow chiropractor and friend Jenny Ashton.
Before moving to Bristol Catherine grew up in Nottingham, her upbringing revolved around her dad’s love for Football and Cricket and regularly returns to Nottingham to support Nottingham Forest Football club. Catherine has always been active, she is a member of the local David Lloyd gym, is a keen horse rider and has played hockey since the age of 11.
Although Catherine treats all kinds of patients and all age groups; her main interests are in treating pregnant patients and children. In the past 10 years since graduating, Catherine has become experienced in treating patients who are pregnant and experiencing muscle and joint pain. This has progressed into helping newborns and babies of our pregnant mums with chiropractic care often after they have experienced difficult labours. Cat is passionate about helping mums get back to exercise and sport after giving birth – helping to prevent further muscle and joint issues.
Cat also has an interest in treating sports injuries, and looks after many fellow teammates from Westbury & United Banks and Westberries Hockey Club.
Catherine is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a fellow member at the Royal College of Chiropractors.
